03.2/CONSULTING · DIGITAL STRATEGY

Agency expert inDigital Strategythat can be executed with realistic budget, timeline and team.

We translate business objectives into concrete digital decisions: value proposition, channel mix, measurement architecture and investment order. No 5-year horizons detached from reality. No pretty deck without operational grounding.

JUDGMENT
A good digital strategy fits on one page. Any document that needs 80 pages to explain itself often hides that it has not made the hard calls. Ordering priorities and saying "not this" is the expensive part of the work, not the pretty diagram.

WHEN IT MAKES SENSE

Moments when you need to stop and put things in order

Typical situations where digital strategy becomes a priority.

New company chapter

Ownership change, funding round, expansion, new product — and digital ops are still built for the previous chapter.

Digital is not aligned with business

Marketing and sales work fine internally, but digital pulls in another direction or is seen as a cost.

Investments need prioritising

Budget is tight and there are too many requests on the table. Criteria to say yes to some things and no to others are missing.

You have tried many things

Scattered initiatives that do not connect with each other. The thread that makes the whole meaningful is missing.

Board presentation

You need a coherent digital narrative, with justified decisions, to raise to the leadership committee or board.

Before changing agency

Before issuing an RFP or rotating partners, be clear on what to actually ask them for. Without this, the brief is written by the vendor.

HOW WE DO IT

A process designed for making decisions

Four phases. Each closes concrete decisions before moving on.

  1. 01

    Alignment

Session with leadership to set business objectives, real constraints and horizon. Everything else builds on this.

  2. 02

    Rapid analysis

Reading of the starting point (market, competition, internal capabilities) and work with the team. Not exhaustive — the minimum needed to decide.

  3. 03

    Formulation

Decision workshops on the four structural levers. Value proposition, channels, data, order. Closed in sessions, not by email.

  4. 04

    Executable plan

Synthesis document + quarterly roadmap + decision criteria. Ready to present to the board and to hand down to operations the following week.

WHAT YOU GET

Tangible deliverables

Pieces designed for the strategy to be executed, not filed away.

Strategy document

Synthesis with decisions taken, rationale behind each and trade-offs assumed. Short, clear, board-ready.

Quarterly roadmap

12-18 months view with milestones per quarter, dependencies and success indicators per block.

Channel map

What role each channel plays (acquisition, conversion, retention, brand) and how they combine — not just a list.

Target data architecture

How data should flow end-to-end to be able to measure and decide with confidence.

Decision criteria

Written rules for frequent decisions (when to cut a channel, when to scale, how to prioritise tests) currently taken by intuition.

Leadership session

Presentation to the committee and answers to the questions that always come up when a plan hits the table.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Honest questions before hiring

How is this different from a marketing plan?

A marketing plan answers "what will we do this year in marketing". A digital strategy answers "how should the digital part of the business evolve and why". One is more operational, the other structural. They usually coexist well.

Do you work with our team or bring in your own?

We work with yours. Strategy is formulated with leadership and whoever will execute it — because if the internal team does not own it, it does not ship. We do not do strategy "from outside".

What if we already have a strategy in place?

Then you probably need an external contrast or an analysis, not a new strategy. We say so in the first conversation instead of selling you something you do not need.

How long does the process take?

It depends on size and access to the leadership team. Generally it closes in a few weeks if the key people are available. If they are not, artificially rushing it makes no sense.

After the plan, can you help execute it?

We can, in different formats (interim digital direction, spot sparring, agency oversight). It is not required or preferred — it gets decided once the plan is on the table.

NEXT STEP

Time to put the digital strategy in order before investing further?

Tell us where the company stands and the decisions ahead. If we bring useful judgment, we say so. If not, we say so too.
