Managed marketplaces
01 · MANIFESTO · MARKETPLACES AGENCY

Marketplaces are not just another channel. They are an economic ecosystem with their own rules, opaque algorithms and tight margins.

Marketplaces today concentrate over 60% of commercial-intent product searches: Amazon, MediaMarkt, Miravia, PcComponentes, Carrefour and dozens more operate as ecosystems with their own rules, opaque algorithms, commissions that erode margin and intense competition for the buy box. As a marketplaces specialist agency, eXprimeNet approaches each operation as a system: catalogue strategy per marketplace and sector, listing optimisation with specific SEO, managed PPC (Amazon Ads, DSP), buy box protection, dynamic pricing, cross-marketplace logistics and an AI Agents layer watching buy box, competitor prices, stock and complaints 24/7. All under senior human supervision.

02 · MARKETPLACES WORKING LAYERS

Seven layers. One single system. Strategy, listing, PPC, buy box and logistics integrated.

As a full-service marketplaces agency, all channel levers are operated: catalogue strategy per marketplace, listing optimisation with marketplace SEO, PPC management (Amazon Ads, DSP), buy box protection, dynamic pricing, review and complaint management, FBA/FBM/FBH logistics and consolidated data. Marketplace selection responds to real per-SKU profitability, not fashion.

08 · TRANSVERSAL CAPABILITIES

The Seller account is not enough.

A modern marketplaces ecosystem demands catalogue strategy, senior listing, PPC, buy box protection, FBA/FBM logistics, review management and analytical consolidation. The whole set is operated from the same team.

Catalogue strategy
SKU-by-SKU analysis of real profitability (commissions, FBA, PPC), decision on what to sell where, what to withdraw and what to reintroduce. Prioritisation by confirmed positive contribution margin.
Senior listing optimisation
Copywriters specialised in marketplace SEO (Amazon SEO, MediaMarkt SEO, PcC SEO), product photography, A+ Content, EBC, video listing and comparatives. Systematic testing.
Managed PPC + DSP
Active management of Sponsored Products/Brands/Display (Amazon Ads), PcC Ads, MediaMarkt Ads, Miravia Ads campaigns and DSP for lookalike audiences and cross-marketplace retargeting.
Buy box + dynamic pricing
Dynamic repricer with minimum-margin rules, MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) protection via Brand Registry, continuous competition monitoring and cannibalisation detection.
Cross-marketplace logistics
FBA (Amazon), own FBM, FBH (hybrid fulfillment) management, 3PL integration, returns management, packaging and per-marketplace compliance (Amazon, PcC packaging, etc.).
Review management + account health
Proactive review monitoring, negative response, hijacker protection, complaint management and compliance with each marketplace’s policies to avoid suspensions.
09 · AI APPLIED TO MARKETPLACES

Five layers. Always with human supervision.

Artificial intelligence does not replace the marketplaces team: it amplifies SKU-by-SKU analysis capacity, PPC optimisation and early risk detection. Each layer operates under protocols defined with the client.

LAYER 01
Data
Unified ingestion of sales per marketplace, commissions, PPC, competition, buy box, stock and reviews. Real-time anomaly detection and per-category benchmarking.
LAYER 02
Prediction
Per-SKU profitability models, demand prediction, required-stock forecast, suspension propensity and early detection of hijackers or internal cannibalisation.
LAYER 03
Generation
Editorial assistance: title variants, bullet points, A+ descriptions and keyword research. Human validation prior to publication in Seller/Vendor Central always.
LAYER 04
Optimisation
Automatic PPC bid rebalancing by target ACOS, prioritisation of SKUs by contribution margin and cross-marketplace allocation suggestions based on measured profitability.
LAYER 05
Explainability
Each algorithmic recommendation documented. No production action (price change, listing, bid) is executed without review by the responsible human team.
10 · AI AGENTS · OPERATIONAL 24/7

Ten AI Agents specialised in marketplaces operating in each managed account.

Modern marketplaces management demands more than manual execution. eXprimeNet deploys in each account a squad of specialised AI Agents: autonomous programs with defined objectives, bounded operating limits and escalation protocols. Each agent covers a critical function of the marketplace cycle, operates 24/7 and all its critical actions require human team approval.

11 · AI GOVERNANCE

Marketplaces automation yes. Autonomy without control, no.

Marketplaces agents act within a governance framework defined with the client. No automation changes prices outside range, publishes a listing or modifies PPC budget without human judgement. AI proposes, the team decides.

01
Mandatory human approval
No agent publishes listings, changes prices outside the agreed range, alters bids massively or executes legal actions (Brand Registry, take-downs) without the marketplace manager’s sign-off.
02
Defined operating limits
Each agent operates within bounded thresholds: minimum margin per SKU, maximum ACOS, price change per hour, untouchable categories. Out of range is automatically blocked.
03
Full traceability
Each algorithmic action is logged: which model acted, with which data, what it recommended, who approved it. Exportable audit on demand for management and client.
04
Client data protected
Client data (sales, catalogue, margins) does not feed models shared with third parties. Use restricted to the project and with agreed retention.
05
Mandatory editorial review
Every AI-generated or expanded listing (title, bullets, A+, EBC) passes human editorial control by a specialised copywriter before publication to the marketplace. No exceptions.
06
Explainability required
Each recommendation comes with quantitative reasoning (impact on sales, ROAS, buy box, margin). Without justification, it does not go into production.

13 · FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Common questions before hiring marketplaces.

Which marketplaces do you work with? Can we start with one or do we have to be everywhere?+
We operate Amazon (ES/EU/US, Vendor and Seller), MediaMarkt, Miravia, PcComponentes, Carrefour, Fnac, eBay, ManoMano, Bricomart, Zalando, Amazon Business and specialised verticals. Being everywhere is never recommended: after a catalogue audit, we propose the optimal mix per SKU, prioritising real profitability (with commissions + FBA + PPC).
What is the difference between Amazon Vendor (1P) and Seller (3P)?+
In Vendor (1P) Amazon buys from the brand and sells as retailer: less price and catalogue control but delegated volume and logistics. In Seller (3P) the brand sells directly: full control but more management and commissions. The decision depends on volume, margin, operational capacity and price strategy. We analyse and recommend by case.
Is FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) always better than FBM (self-fulfilled)?+
No. FBA speeds up deliveries and increases buy box in many cases, but has high fees and limits margin on low-ticket or low-rotation products. FBM (Merchant) gives full control but requires strong logistics. FBH (hybrid) combines both by SKU. We calculate real per-SKU profitability of each option before deciding.
How long does a marketplaces project take to deliver results?+
The first listing and PPC optimisation impacts are measurable in 30–45 days. Structural results on buy box, ROAS and organic sales consolidate between month 3 and month 6, with cumulative growth through iterative optimisation and marketplaces algorithmic learning.
Do you buy reviews or use "review generation" services?+
No. Never. Buying reviews is a direct violation of Amazon/MediaMarkt/etc. policies and results in permanent account suspension and delisting of all associated listings. We only work with organic reviews and with the official marketplace tools (Vine, Early Reviewer Program when applicable).
What exactly are the "AI Agents" that operate the account?+
Autonomous programs specialised in a specific function of the marketplace cycle: buy box surveillance, dynamic repricing, PPC optimisation, listing analysis, stock forecast, review monitoring, hijacker detection, account health, category analysis and compliance. They operate 24/7 within limits defined with the client and all their critical actions require human approval before execution.
How is price protection (MAP) and unauthorised sellers handled?+
With Brand Registry activated, cross-marketplace monitoring of MAP infringements, notifications to the offending distributor and formal takedown procedure upon persistence. The Hijacker Detector identifies unauthorised sellers in <24h and triggers a test-buy + Brand Registry protocol for removal. All legal action is executed by a human.
How does it integrate with our ERP or PIM?+
It integrates natively with the main ERPs (SAP, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage) and PIMs (Akeneo, Salsify, Pimcore) via API or middleware. Catalogue, stock, orders and invoicing are synced in real time. Batch flows via CSV/EDI are also supported if that is the client’s standard.
How is the real ROI of marketplaces measured?+
With an SKU-by-SKU profitability model that subtracts from revenue all commissions (marketplace + FBA + payment + Ads) to compute real contribution margin. Operational margin (without PPC) is separated from post-PPC margin. The final KPI is agreed with the client’s business owner and reported weekly with a consolidated cross-marketplace dashboard.
